Blank Black screen appear after upgrading Ubuntu 16.04 LTS 32-bit to 18.04 LTS 32-bit bionic beaver via software updater during reboot 2 I have 18.04 LTS 32 bit while there's no such version on the official site. 64-bit PC (AMD64) server install image Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64T architecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you have a non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bit code, use the i386 images instead. Choose this if you are at all unsure.
Desktop CD
Desktop CD
The desktop CD allows you to try Ubuntu without changing yourcomputer at all, and at your option to install it permanently later.This type of CD is what most people will want to use.You will need at least 384MiB of RAM to install from this CD.
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) 20201210 The Ubuntu Cloud image can be run on your personal Ubuntu Cloud, or on public clouds that provide Ubuntu Certified Images. To find a listing of our public images on supported Clouds, please use the Cloud Image Locator. Both editions are distributed with two ISO images, one for each of the supported architectures (32-bit and 64-bit). Whether you want to just test Ubuntu, install it on your disk drive, or use it as a rescue CD, you don't have to do anything when booting the live medium.
There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:
- PC (Intel x86) desktop CD
- For almost all PCs. This includes most machines with Intel/AMD/etc typeprocessors and almost all computers that run Microsoft Windows, as well asnewer Apple Macintosh systems based on Intel processors. Choose this if youare at all unsure.
- 64-bit PC (AMD64) desktop CD
- Choose this to take full advantage of computers based on the AMD64 or EM64Tarchitecture (e.g., Athlon64, Opteron, EM64T Xeon, Core 2). If you havea non-64-bit processor made by AMD, or if you need full support for 32-bitcode, use the Intel x86 images instead.
Server install CD
The server install CD allows you to install Ubuntu permanently on acomputer for use as a server. It will not install a graphical userinterface.
There are two images available, each for a different type of computer:

Alternate install CD
The alternate install CD allows you to perform certain specialistinstallations of Ubuntu. It provides for the following situations:
- setting up automated deployments;
- upgrading from older installations without network access;
- LVM and/or RAID partitioning;
- installs on systems with less than about 384MiB of RAM(although note that low-memory systems may not be able to run a full desktopenvironment reasonably).
In the event that you encounter a bug using the alternate installer,please file a bug on thedebian-installerpackage.

Ubuntu 32 Bit Version
Choosing the right version:
- 64-bit version suitable for PCs with Intel or AMD chip.
- 32-bit version, for most PCs older than 2007.
- PowerPC version for Apple Macintosh G3/G4/G5 and IBM OpenPower, please choose Long Term Support (LTS) version below.
- Mac64 version for Intel Macs, 2006 and beyond, please use the 64-bit version.
- For low-RAM (less than 700 MB) PCs use the Alternate versions with a smaller set of applications.
This image was created using the Ubuntu Pi Flavour Maker. For the Raspberry Pi 2 the microSDHC I/O throughput is a bottleneck. Recommended: Use a Class 6 or Class 10 microSDHC card. More information here.
